Marine
Wildlife Bycatch Mitigation: Global Trends, International Action
and the Challenges for Australia is the first in what is
intended to be a series of publications on ocean law and policy
("Ocean Publications") from the Centre of Maritime Policy at the
University of Wollongong. The book provides an extensive review of
Australian legislation and international law and relating to marine bycatch and provides also a comprehensive
overview of management approaches and techniques to bycatch
reduction. There is also detailed analysis of two case studies
outside Australia: US marine mammal protection and the
International Dolphin Conservation Program. |
