This is a compilation of documents from the 1993-1995 UN Fish Stocks Conference. It's aim is to improve access by scholars and practitioners to documents relating to straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks by providing an authoritative and comprehensive overview of the Conference proceedings. It contains documents from all six sessions, as well as reproductions of the Agreement itself and the Final Act. The text is of value given that no summary verbatim records from the Conference are available owing to the financial constraints imposed upon the United Nations Secretariat and the fact that the majority of documents are not easily accessible elsewhere. (They are not reproduced on the Internet, for example).
