International Fisheries Treaty Database [Visit
this section]
The
International Fisheries Treaty Database is one of the largest
publicly-accessible collections of international treaties on the
internet (in any field), comprising in total (when complete) over 900
instruments in total. Approximately 200 of these are in a Multilateral
Treaties Compendium, which also contains summary files for each treaty
(containing basic details and a fuller-length analysis of the treaty)
and, for agreements in force and recently concluded, status files
(providing information on ratification status). The status files are
updated monthly. There is also a Bilateral Treaties Compendium, which
will contain when complete around 700 texts with a summary for each
principal agreement. The latter database is currently under development
and will be completed in two stages. Stage 1 is to publish the texts of
the treaties listed in the database (currently more than 500 texts are
available). Stage 2 is to provide the summary files for each principal
treaty.
New in 2005
Nearly 100 new texts
have been added to the multilateral treaty compendium, along with links to approximately 200 foreign
language texts, and all summaries and status files have
been updated. Status files are now updated on a monthly basis [members
only]. The bilateral treaty compendium is a completely new resource.
Compendium of Cases [Visit

The
Compendium of Cases is a collection of selected international and
national judicial decisions in the fields of fisheries and marine living
resource conservation. It includes selected older decisions of interest
and a collection of “current cases”, which is updated monthly (subject
to the availability of new decisions). Each case also has an information
file, containing an abstract and links to other information and (to be
added during 2004/2005) a synopsis of the judgment. Most new cases are
linked to the case summaries in the Briefly Noted section of IFLPR.

a monthly update of current and recent activities in the organizations
in the International Organizations Monitor.
New in 2005
This section has
been expanded to cover international organizations concerned with marine
