The Internet Guide to International Fisheries Law has
been running for over 5 years and is widely recognized as one of the
leading resources in the field. It is used extensively by professionals,
academics, students, consultants, national and international officials
and NGOs from a wide range of disciplines. It has a core “readership” of
more than 5,000 users and receives several million hits per year.
In 2005, OceanLaw
launched a new version of the website. The new site is based closely on
the previous version but has been substantially re-developed and
re-designed. At the same time as launching the website, OceanLaw also
launched a new peer-reviewed journal International Fisheries Law and
Policy Review. An exciting and important new resource, the journal
combines academic and practice-oriented research with a strong emphasis
on current developments. The journal is available in print or on-line,
via the IGIFL website.
