Abstract

 
This case concerns alleged overfishing by the EC in the South Pacific and measures denying port access taken by Chile. The merits of this case have not yet been heard by ITLOS. Although it remains on the docket of the Tribunal, proceedings have been stayed following an "out-of-court" agreement between the parties. Contemporaneous proceedings brought by the EC against Chile before the World Trade Organization have also been stayed.
